The Astronautical Society of UPES. Rockets, telescopes, code and everything between, built by students who would rather launch it than read about it.
Our VisionA future where space literacy drives real innovation. We aim to ignite a culture of exploration where students strive for the technical knowledge and global perspective to become the next generation of aerospace pioneers.
Our MissionTo push space literacy far beyond the classroom. By bridging the gap between curiosity and professional competence and making astronautical knowledge accessible to everyone.
What We DoWe bring the universe down to Earth. Through telescope observation nights, guest lectures, international space conventions, and technical events, we make aerospace science accessible and engaging for all.

As a recognised ISRO Space Tutor, we act as an official gateway for space literacy on campus.
We bring ISRO's wealth of space science, educational resources and programmes straight to the student community, fuelling their passion and curiosity.

Being an official AIAA Student Chapter, we bridge the gap between classroom learning and global aerospace standards.
Our members get access to an international network of professionals, technical resources and global competitions.

The space industry runs on knowledge of policy, technology and the forces shaping the sector. As our Knowledge Partner, SIA India brings exactly that to our community.
Members gain industry insights, research and perspectives from the organisation at the heart of India's commercial space ecosystem.

Two build-and-fly competitions on campus: make a balsa-wood glider or a water rocket, then put it through a live flight test.

A stargazing night through our Dobsonian telescope, with astrophotography and light painting under a dark sky.

Our National Space Day 2026 celebration brought distinguished speaker sessions, a talk on Earth observation sensors and a student exhibition of telescopes, drones and aerospace models.

Questions, ideas, collabs, or just want to say hi — we reply before the next orbit.
